Environment variables

Every variable can also be set in a .env file (loaded via dotenvy).

Authentication

Variable	Description
KOBANA_TOKEN	Bearer token for the product you are calling. Not shared across products
KOBANA_WORKSPACE_ID	Workspace sent in the X-Workspace-Id header. Optional while the organization has a single workspace; an X-Workspace-Id in --params wins over it
KOBANA_CREDENTIALS_FILE	Path to an OAuth credentials JSON file
KOBANA_CLIENT_ID	OAuth client ID (Banking Gateway)
KOBANA_CLIENT_SECRET	OAuth client secret (Banking Gateway)
KOBANA_INBOX_CLIENT_CERT	Path to the PEM (certificate + key) used for the inbox product's mTLS

Configuration

Variable	Description
KOBANA_CONFIG_DIR	Override the config directory (default: ~/.config/kobana)
KOBANA_ENVIRONMENT	Environment. Magic Dashboard only has production (default)

Logging

Variable	Description
KOBANA_LOG	Log level filter for stderr (e.g. kobana=debug). Off by default.
KOBANA_LOG_FILE	Directory for JSON log files with daily rotation. Off by default.
